National Seminar on Nutraceutical Revolution
There after Prof. H.S.Lamba, Director HRIP addressed the gathering. Eminent speaker Prof. S.A. Khan, delivered a lecture on “Nutraceutical Revolution” Nutraceutical,is a broad umbrella term that combining the words “Nutrition” and “Pharmaceutical”, is a food or food product that provides health and medical benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. Such products may range from isolated nutrients, dietary supplements. nutraceutical is any substance that is a food or a part of food that provides medical or health benefits, including the prevention and treatment of disease. Such products may range from isolated nutrients, dietary supplements and specific diets to genetically engineered designer food and herbal products. A poster presentation was organized in the afternoon session .A scientific review committee for the poster session was constituted & students, delegates who presented their poster were awarded medals & certificates by Prof. Pankaj Sharma, JNU, Jaipur, Dr. R.D. Gupta & Mr. Arvind Rathour. The Seminar was very informative & fruitful for the delegates and students. Snacks, refreshment were provided to the dignitaries & students. The programme was anchored by Ms Pooja Arora & Mr. Harjeet Singh Gill Prof. S.A. Khan was presented guest of honor by Dr. H.S.Lamba, Director HRIP.The programme was completed with great enthusiasm & vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Shikha Parmar, H R Institute of Pharmacy, Ghaziabad. Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Khar, Principal , B.S. Anagpuria Institute Faridabad, Dr. Faranjalis , Jamia Hamdard, Delhi were present on the occasion. The Programme began with the lighting of lamp and an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. Er. Anil Aggarwal B.E. FIE (I) Chairman HRGI welcomed the chief Guest, delegate and the students. There after,Prof. Dr. H.S. Lamba, Director , H.R. Institute of Pharmacy, welcomed and addressed the gathering. Dr. V.K. Jain D G , HRGI also welcomed the chief guest and the delegates. The scientific session was held after the inauguration of the seminar. The scientific session was followed by poster presentation. The student and delegates presented their poster.on different topics- Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmaceutics NDDS., CADD & QSAR., Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance. In the poster session , Group of students from various Pharmacy Institute participated in which HRIP,TIPER, K.N.MIPER etc. were awarded the I,II and III prize. The seminar was very Informative and fruitful for the delegates and students. A Special thanks was conveyed to chief Patron Er. Anil Aggarwal, Chairman, HRGI. The Programme was concluded with great enthusiasm and a vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Shikha Parmar ,HRIP Ghaziabad. Seminar on Innovation in Pharma Education & Research
The program began with lightening of lamp and invocation of Goddess Sararwati. A scientific session was held after the inauguration of seminar. The Chief Guest of Seminar, Mr. Mukesh Sinha, Director Technical, Win Medicare stressed on the need of a series of Innovations in Pharma Education & Research. He explored new Modalities and several newer techniques to create Innovations in Pharma Research. Eminent speakers Prof. (Dr.) S.A. Khan and Prof. (Dr.) Farahjalees Ahmed from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj Sharma from Jaipur National University, Jaipur were present on the occasion. They delivered lectures on facilities and limitations available for Innovation in Pharma Industry and briefed delegates on “Recent Advances and Development in Herbal Drugs.” The scientific session was followed by Poster Presentation. The students and delegates presented their poster on different topics i.e. Green Pharmacy, Nanotechnology, Gene Therapy & Drug Designing. A Pharma Quiz was organized after the Poster Session. Team from various Pharmacy Institutes participated in Pharma Quiz. The seminar was highly informative. A special thank was conveyed to the chief patron Er. Anil Aggarwal, Chairman, HRGI. Earlier Seminars were held on the topics “Emerging Trends in Novel Drug Delivery System” (2009) and “Futuristic Approach in Pharmaceutical Education & Research” (2010). |
